Tonight was a yoga class. This is the hard class. I was dressed for winter in long pants and long sleeves but it was in the 60's. I was a little sweaty after the 10th or so chaturanga.
I'm hoping it is nice in the morning so I can run outdoors.

While it was nice and warm, the run didn't happen. I forgot that I had an 8 am dentist appointment. I did my leg exercises and afterwords I was planning to run. That was when I saw the reminder on my phone. I quickly showered and left for my appointment. After work, I had a long overdue chore at the house to take care of.
I will run tomorrow. If it isn't raining I will run outdoors.

This morning I did my achilles and hip exercises for both legs. That was followed by a treadmill run. I did 1/4 mile walking @ 15 min pace, 1/4 @ 12 min pace, 1/2 mile @ 10 min, and 2 miles @ 9:30. Per Garmin, 3.1 miles in 30:51 for an average pace of 9:56. Everything felt good while running. I'll see how I feel this evening. It was nice out this morning again. I should have run outdoors.

Glad your Achilles and hips are feeling better.

Thanks. The hips have been fine this marathon training cycle. I think it is due to the hip stability exercises combined with the strength training I had been doing.
It is very nice out this morning but no run. Both calves just felt a little tight so I decided not to push it with a back to back run. I did my Achilles exercises and have an aerial yoga class tonight.

After my yoga class tonight, I finally got around to resizing a picture of my puppy for my avatar.

Today was strength training. I started with prep drill as my dynamic warm-up. This was followed by the Achilles stretching and rubber band work and my hip stability work. For my Achilles instead of doing eccentric calf raises (which are really lowering) and seated calf raises, I am adding standing calf raises on a step to my strength training. Today I did supersets of
DB lunges 3 x 20 x 8 DB Bench 3 x 30 x 8
DB SLDL 3 x 10 x 8 DB Bench row 3 x 30 x 8
Ab Wheel rollouts 3 x 8 Calf raises 3 x 10 x 8
We are heading down to Wilmington DE to meet a group of friends from RB today. We have tickets to see Paula Poundstone. I used my hotel points to get a hotel room so that we don't have to worry about driving home. I'm not sure what the afternoon plans are as the weather decided not to cooperate (rain is forcast for most of the day). We have dinner reservations before the show. Knowing this group, we will probably go out or go to one of our rooms for after show drinks.

Enjoy. I haven't heard her name in years. One of my cousins used to work with her sister.

So it rained most of the afternoon. My wife and I did a driving tour (self directed) of Wilmington. We are considering moving and Wilmington is one of our options.
The show was really good. Pounstone is a good improvisionist. She would ask the audience questions and go from there.
This morning I went for a 7 mile run in the Jack Markell trail which connects Wilmington to New Castle. It was windy and cold but sunny. Garmin stats are 7.00 miles in 1:04:55 for an average pace of 9:16.
This hotel allowed dogs so I have a great picture of my dog enjoying the River view. I'll try to resize it and make it my avatar.

M@, we are thinking about moving out of our house in New Jersey. Our current options are an over 55 community near our current house, somewhere in Pa, or Wilmington. We will be keeping the condo in Rehoboth for now.
Yesterday, I didn't do my leg exercises. I went down to the basement to do them, but got sidetracked with what I thought would only take a minute or two. 1/2 an hour later, my window to exercise had closed. This morning I did my Achilles exercises. I may repeat them this evening with my hip stuff but most likely not. My wife mentioned taking the dog for a walk after work since it is a) really warm b) still light out with DST.

We took the dog for a 3 mile walk last night. It was in the low 70's and sunny so ideal conditions.
This morning it was around 50 when I went for my run. I did 5 miles. I started slow and finished fast. Everything felt good. Garmin stats were 5 miles in 45:17 for an average pace of 9:03. Splits were 9:40, 9:12, 9:10, 8:44, 8:30. Tomorrow will be 3 to 5 miles depending on how I feel. I will try to keep it slow.
