Inspired by macdiver's suggestion of Sherman by Christopher McDougall. What else y'all got? I'm halfway through The Comfort Crisis by Michael Easter - share.libbyapp.com/title/5677959 - and I've been learning quite a bit. I've enjoyed it more than his more recent release, Scarcity Brain, though I would recommend both. Good overview of human behavior and motivations, and specific examples and applications for fitness folks too (one section digs deep into why we overeat, covering physiology and psychology, for example).

I have heard Easter on a number of podcasts and generally like what he has to say.
Since I'm not a big reader, I'm going to start listening to audiobooks in 2024.
I did get a copy of Arnold's new book Be Useful in hardcover for Christmas.

I did get a copy of Arnold's new book Be Useful in hardcover for Christmas. I've been devouring audiobooks for free thanks to the Libby app: libbyapp.com/You can get digital library cards from around the country to decrease your wait time for borrowing books. Last year I listened to: Comfort Crisis by Michael Easter Scarcity Brain by Michael Easter The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van der Kolk Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari Homo Deus by Yuval Noah Harari The Happiness Hypothesis by Jonathan Haidt This is Your Mind on Plants by Michael Pollan How to Change Your Mind by Michael Pollan Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl Unf*ck Yourself by Gary John Bishop The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson The Storyteller by David Grohl All of which I'd recommend.

We were just discussing my issues with audiobooks on Spotify earlier this week in my journal. I will have to check out Libby. Was the book about your mind on plants referring to a plant based diet or about smoking them?

We were just discussing my issues with audiobooks on Spotify earlier this week in my journal. I will have to check out Libby. The other free library app I use is Hoopla: www.hoopladigital.com/ It's nice cause there's also a Roku app for it. Between Libby and Hoopla, I can get enough good free content that I've almost considered cancelling other streaming subscriptions. But I still love me some Netflix. Was the book about your mind on plants referring to a plant based diet or about smoking them? [CLICK FOR ANSWER]
