It can be a slow process. I just "graduated" from seeing my physical therapist three times a week since mid October. This not being my first time I know the process is effective, but it takes time and commitment.

Thank you Paul for the concern.
Looking at the x-rays I have very bad knees. I also have tennis elbow.
I think I can beat this but have to continue PT. Doing PT from literature given to me at their office. Now doing all the work at home.

May 17, 2021 Not much to say. Great reading about all of you. I don't know what Mac means by running in sandals. Do they make sandals for running?
I have to say physical therapy takes forever. Two months goes so slow. Still I am re-reading some training books and trying out things in the gym.
But still I can't run, or play tennis.
I have my quarterly results from my blood test. My PSA almost doubled. I have to go and have an MRI for the prostate.

Wishing you fine MRI results and look forward to reading once again about your running and tennis exploits. I hear you about PT; in the latter part of 2020 and early 2021 I was going three times a week and may have to resume again.

I hope your MRI test shows nothing to be concerned about. I concur that PT takes a long time. A few years back it took about 6 months of daily at home PT exercises for my Achilles. Last year I was fortunate that it only took a couple of months for the same issue.
Yes, they make sandals particularly for running. I use the Xero Genesis sandal which you can see in the photo from my run on Sunday. Luna is another brand of running sandals that was started by Barefoot Ted, one of the characters in the book "Born to Run"

Thank you all. I guess all is getting small.
Saw the doctor again. Actually I saw his assistant. He gave me a course of hyaluronic acid injections. I hope to start hitting again in a few weeks. Maybe running too.
He said nothing about PT so I'm holding that up for now.

Jun 27, 2021 Workouts been happening. Normally twice a week. I resumed the Workout I found in a book. Have cut down to 137.4 lbs. All my old clothes fit. Problem is they're out of style. Guess the clothing will be old man casual. ⌛😂

Jul 5, 2021 Been trying to workout twice a week. Doing wholons which incorporate several fitness ideas. Keeping weight to maintenance level... about 190. My knee is getting better. Hope everyone who celebrated had a good time. My wife and me watched Boss Baby, the movie.

Question: Last week you wrote that you weighed 137.4 and today you wrote that your weight is at maintenance level....about 190. Did you mean to write that you're keeping your calories to 1900 per day?

Oh yeah that's exactly right. 190lbs lol.
Try to stay @ 140lbs.
Still on tennis hold. The gym has been great for me.
Also woke up Monday with terrible back. No gym no tennis no PT.
