May 8th 3.12 km Walk 2.55 km Walk I moved yesterdays run to today thinking the weather should be nicer...I was wrong, so very wrong. It is currently snowing sideways and not just a little bit either. I looks as if today's run will have it's challenges that's for sure. But that's ok, not everyday can have the best running conditions. I guess I'll be getting a little extra cold therapy, that's all. Other than that today will be filled with youtube filming and some general house cleaning.
I hope you have a great Saturday, thanks for stopping by.

I think winter was delayed 3 months. It has been colder since the equinox than it was in the astronomical winter. 😁

Happy Sunday to you all. I want you all to do something for me on this Mothers day, call your Mom and let her know how much you love her and how much she means to you. Let her know how she positively shaped your life and how all the things you love about her. If she isn't with us any longer tell her anyway. Tell your wife how amazing they are, hug her, kiss her, let her know amazing of a Mom she is, do something nice for her...something extra than you already planned today. I lost my Mom today. I didn't get the chance to tell her Happy Mothers day or tell her all the things I love about her..... I would give anything to hear her one one more time and to tell her how much I loved her. Todays run was dedicated to my Mom. 5.20 km 6:15 min/km Yesterdays run was 5.20 km 6:21 min/km I hope you all have had a great day and a great weekend.

Thanks so much for all your kind words, I really appreciate them. The first couple of days were pretty rough but with each passing day, things are getting easier...with certain things at least. My Mom's passing has turned into a complicated mess. The entire process turned into a hostile takeover by my Grandmother and sister. Ugh. At this point, I have simply let go. There is no real point in pursuing things. It's only going to make matters worse. Cold showers, meditation, run, breathe, rinse, lather, repeat. May 10th cont. 5.5 km walk
May 11th 3.8 km walk
May 12th 7.28 km walk
May 13th 1.19 km walk 3.31km walk
May 14th 1.76 km walk 5.27 km run (6:06 km/min pace)
May 15th 7.24 km walk
May 16th 5.19 km run (7:08 km/min pace) - blisters, pinch in ribs, tight ankle 1.17 km walk
May 17th 11.16 km run (6:55 km/min pace) - 10k Test run, construction slowdowns, and detours)
May 19th 3.05 km walk
